Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms exhibited by clients.

• Collaborate with individuals to create customized treatment plans aligned with their unique needs, personal goals, and therapeutic preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to client requirements.

• Provide education and ongoing support regarding mood disorders to both clients and their families, facilitating understanding and promoting self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare specialists to provide integrated holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients grappling with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, you will extend support to vulnerable populations such as refugees, the homeless, and victims of domestic violence, ensuring they receive the empathetic care needed to facilitate healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
