Location: Whitestone, NY Schedule: Full Time - required 2 Saturdays per month Pay Range: $27.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus opportunities for professional growth What You'll Do Coordinate Treatment Plans: Present and review personalized treatment plans, helping patients understand their recommended care, treatment options, and next steps. Build Compassionate Relationships: Communicate with patients in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner, creating a positive experience from check-in to checkout. Support Front Office Operations: Answer incoming phone calls, direct inquiries, relay messages, and assist with scheduling and patient communications. Manage Patient Check-In: Welcome patients, verify insurance information, confirm personal details, and ensure patient records are accurate and up to date. Assist with Financial Arrangements: Discuss treatment costs, review financial options as appropriate, and collect patient payments. Coordinate Patient Flow: Communicate patient arrivals to the clinical team promptly and help keep the daily schedule organized and running efficiently. Maintain Accurate Records: Manage administrative documentation and ensure patient information is organized, complete and handled confidentially. Support Practice Growth: Proactively follow up with patients, help schedule outstanding treatment, and encourage patients to move forward with the care they need. Work as a Team: Collaborate with doctors, clinical staff, and the front office team to deliver an exceptional patient experience and support the overall success of the practice. What We're Looking For Previous experience in dental administration or dental office setting; treatment coordination or treatment planning experience is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients. A patient-focused mindset and a genuine interest in helping people achieve their dental health goals. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A proactive, dependable, and positive attitude with a strong team-oriented mindset. Familiarity with Dentrix is preferred, but not required. A willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative work place.
