Support Engineer I

Salary: $50,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree, or equivalent experience and/or certifications gained over 1-3 years.
• We prefer 1-3 years of IT support experience.
• We prefer 1-3 years of experience with Active Directory.
• We prefer 1-3 years of Microsoft 365 administration experience.

• We provide remote and/or onsite troubleshooting for our clients technology issues.
• We track all service tickets in our CRM system.
• We manage, configure, and troubleshoot server virtualization, including VMware and Hyper-V.
• We handle routing, switching, hardware troubleshooting, desktops, laptops, and printers.
• We administer firewall settings, VoIP/UCaaS systems, MDR, AV, and EDR tools.
• We support wireless systems, RDS/Citrix, SANs, and backup environments.
• We troubleshoot a wide range of software platforms.
• We participate in ongoing training to strengthen our skills and stay current on best practices.
• We communicate with hardware and software vendors to support customer needs.
• We interact with customers by phone, email, and in person.
• We take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours and emergency support.
• We travel occasionally to customer sites for issues that cannot be resolved remotely or for software and hardware deployments.

We are a Service Desk team supporting clients with remote and onsite technology troubleshooting. This Tier I Support Engineer role reports to our Service Desk Management Team and involves working in an indoor office environment with standard office equipment, along with occasional movement through office and warehouse space, lifting materials up to 20 pounds, and travel to job sites when needed.
