Corporate Accountant

We are a multi-entity company, related to the insurance industry, looking to hire an accountant to assist with the day-to-day accounting functions, including reconciling bank statements and auditing financial documents and procedures. Job Responsibilities: Manage regular accounting processes Responsible for recording transactions in our accounting systems (Sage Intacct & QuickBooks) Manage & reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Record journal entries for monthly and annual closings Prepare balance sheet and income statement monthly, in a timely manner Prepare reports and provide financial information to management Prepare audit reports and documentation for external audit processors Analyze financial reports and research discrepancies Evaluate and develop improved processes and procedures Job Requirements & Skills: Associates or BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Advanced MS Excel skills, including vlookups and pivot tables Experience with accounting software and data entry Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills Strong logical thinking skills Ability to work independently Work Experience is a plus Knowledge of Sage Intacct is a plus Additional certification (CPA) is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Concero
