What You Will Experience In This Position In this position, you will get to: Performs all work in accordance with standard operating procedures and drawing specifications with little assistance Ability to perform machine set-ups independently, including selecting tooling, adjusting offsets, and preparing equipment for production. Seeks opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality through checks and tests of the product. Some knowledge of calibrated precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gages, thread gages, pin gages, and other measuring tools. Can operate CNC machine with assistance Assists in operational checks to ensure departmental tools, fixtures & equipment are in good working condition. In performing assigned duties, frequently lifts / moves up to and including 50lbs. Standing, walking, bending, crouching, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and climbing are all required motions of the job. You Have Ability to read & write in English (High School or equivalent) needed to follow written instructions and complete departmental paperwork. At least 1 year of validated experience working with Vertical / Horizontal CNC Milling Machines. Familiar with and basic knowledge of Mastercam / Solid works Basic understanding of machine controls using Haas / Fanuc cnc equipment Ability to learn the process requirements and skills to troubleshoot, react, and correct failures in the process due to unplanned situations. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range: $23.50 - $31.80 Per Hour Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
