Position Title: Salesforce Technical Architect
Location: Remote / Washington, DC support (Federal Client)
Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time
Clearance: Ability to support Federal security requirements preferred
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to support a large-scale Federal Salesforce implementation and modernization initiative. The candidate will design, develop, and implement enterprise Salesforce solutions, supporting a Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE), application modernization, integrations, data migration, and secure DevOps practices.
Responsibilities- Design enterprise Salesforce architecture aligned with Federal agency requirements.
- Develop Salesforce solutions using Salesforce platform capabilities, Lightning, Apex, APIs, and automation tools.
- Lead Salesforce configuration, customization, integration, and deployment activities.
- Support Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) development and governance.
- Develop technical solutions for workflow automation, case management, and business process modernization.
- Design integration solutions between Salesforce and enterprise systems.
- Support data migration, data quality, and data standardization activities.
- Provide technical leadership for Salesforce developers and implementation teams.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, privacy, and Federal IT standards.
- Support DevSecOps processes, release management, and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and security teams.
- 8+ years of Salesforce implementation and architecture experience.
- Strong experience designing enterprise Salesforce solutions.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred.
- Salesforce Certified Application/System Architect certifications preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud or Federal Salesforce implementations.
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Platform, and case management solutions.
- Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), APIs, integrations, and automation.
- Experience with enterprise data migration and integration projects.
- Experience supporting Agile development and DevSecOps environments.
- Experience supporting Federal agency Salesforce implementations.
- Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO), RMF, NIST security controls, and continuous monitoring.
- Experience supporting secure cloud application development environments.
- Experience working with DOJ, DHS, VA, DOD, or other Federal agencies.
- Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) implementation experience.
- Enterprise architecture documentation experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid Federal environment.
