Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) in Interventional Radiology provides specialized nursing care in a fast-paced, procedural environment. Key Responsibilities: Assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care supporting minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures educating patients and families administering medications safely ensuring resource efficiency participating in quality improvement, peer review, and professional development activities and supporting new staff and learners Qualifications & Skills: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current New York State RN license. Preferred candidates hold a BSN, prior clinical experience, and certifications like CCRN, ACLS, or PALS. Work Environment & Requirements: Work involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting in clinical settings, with exposure to disinfectants and PPE. Prior IR experience is preferred but not mandatory, with on-call responsibilities requiring quick response.
