Government Investigations & White Collar Associate - Multiple Locations

We provide comprehensive services to individuals and organizations that receive civil investigative demands, subpoenas, or any other requests for information from federal prosecutors, state prosecutors or investigative agencies. In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated annual salary range for this position is as follows. Boston, MA: $225,000 to $275,000 Washington, DC: $225,000 to $275,000 In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on an array of factors, including but not limited to: work performance, geographic location, work experience, education, and qualifications. Because such contingent compensation is not yet calculable or may be zero ($0) in some circumstances, the above-listed salary range is Nixon Peabody’s good faith estimate of the annual salary it reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of this posting. Job Requirements Our Government Investigations and White-Collar Defense Practice Group is seeking to hire an associate to join our Boston, MA or Washington, DC office. Qualified candidates will have two to four years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and analytical skills and government investigations experience in life sciences matters including the False Claims Act, the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and the Anti‑Kickback Statute. Demonstrated written advocacy experience in the defense of government investigations, government enforcement litigation and related complex civil fraud litigation is preferred. Massachusetts State Bar admission or Washington, DC bar admission is required. Ideal candidates will have strong academic credentials, superb judgment and communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent client services.
