Job Description
Registered Nurse - Critical Care Float Schedule 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM. Assignment Details This position requires floating to various intensive care units as needed. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in critical care nursing.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Experience in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
- Experience with obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG.
- Experience with post cardiac surgery patients (not directly from the OR).
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status.
- Participate in educational activities to enhance personal and professional growth.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient reports and documentation.
