Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive client outcomes.

• Monitor and document client progress through regular check-ins, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.

• Engage in collaborative care by working alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated treatment efforts.

• Stay current with the latest research and developments in mood disorders to enhance therapeutic practices and client care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including those who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder. The therapist will also engage with diverse populations, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, providing essential support and guidance tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• An active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
