CT Technologist - Radiology (Weekend)

The CT Technologist performs computerized axial tomography procedures using various imaging equipment and contrast materials, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis. They prepare and administer contrast media, review patient history, and monitor for adverse reactions, including pregnancy screening when necessary. Responsibilities Responsibilities include acquiring and processing exams independently, reviewing cases with radiologists, and maintaining image quality standards. The role involves ensuring patient, visitor, and environmental safety, and may include instructing students and assisting in departmental duties such as equipment maintenance and supply management. Qualifications Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree or certification in Radiologic Technology, valid radiologic licenses, BLS certification, and at least one year of radiology experience. Skills Skills required are technical proficiency, independent judgment, multitasking, and a positive attitude. Additional duties Additional duties may include cross-training in other modalities and supporting departmental productivity.
