Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients, evaluating the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms on their daily lives.

• Collaborating with clients to develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at achieving their unique mental health goals.

• Implementing therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients manage their conditions.

• Educating clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and developing self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitoring and documenting client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Engaging in case consultations and team meetings, staying current with the latest methodologies and research in mood disorder treatment.

• Advocating for clients within the health care system and contributing to initiatives that combat the stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals dealing with a variety of mood disorders. Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
\n
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate with other medical professionals.

• Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to establish rapport with clients.
