Note Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in Illinois and have 2+ years of civil litigation experience. Deposition experience is required. Job Description Handle general civil litigation matters with a focus on medical negligence and general tort liability Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, ordinances, court decisions, and legal opinions Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies Maintain strong client communication and deliver high‑level client service Manage litigation responsibilities with increasing independence and ownership Qualifications Active Illinois Bar license in good standing 2+ years of civil litigation experience Deposition experience required Strong writing, research, and analytical skills Medical malpractice experience preferred but not required Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues Why You Will Love Working Here You’ll be part of a defense‑side litigation team that offers meaningful case exposure, professional development, and a supportive environment for long‑term growth.
