School Administrative Coordinator, Alpha - $75,000/year USD

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person role based at one of our campuses. Many schools push operations into back offices, behind approval chains and scheduled meetings. Alpha takes a different approach. This role places you at the center of campus life: welcoming families at the door, resolving technology problems, managing smooth arrivals and departures, reassuring concerned parents, coordinating external vendors, and ensuring the building feels secure, polished, and distinctly Alpha. We are looking for someone who balances warmth with clarity, structure with flexibility, and confidence with hands‑on engagement. You will be responsible for nearly everything that supports—but does not include—classroom instruction: communication with parents, attendance management, campus security, facility oversight, meal coordination, device administration, event execution, and the small issues that can quickly become urgent. You will not be surrounded by a large on‑site operations staff. Instead, you will rely on documented procedures, remote assistance, and established standards—but you must be a quick learner, resourceful, and capable of sound decision‑making under pressure. In return, you will become the go‑to adult that families trust, guides depend on, and students turn to when something needs attention. What You Will Be Doing Serve as the primary, dependable point of contact for parents, students, staff, and visitors, delivering clear, composed, and prompt communication. Oversee the daily rhythm of campus operations, including morning arrival, afternoon dismissal, attendance tracking, transportation coordination, lunch execution, campus presentation, event support, and facility maintenance follow‑through. Address safety protocols and student welfare matters, such as access management, emergency drills, health‑related incidents, record‑keeping, and timely parent communication. Administer student devices and essential campus technology, covering initial setup, account assistance, basic troubleshooting, backup procedures, repair coordination, and escalation to remote technical support teams. Cultivate trust with Guides, external vendors, and families by leading with helpfulness while consistently upholding operational standards. What You Won’t Be Doing Working from a back office while others handle parent and student interactions. Leading classroom instruction, mentoring Guides, or developing academic curriculum. Delaying action on campus issues until a manager provides direction. Relying on multiple meetings to address urgent, same‑day campus needs. Delegating responsibility for facilities, devices, vendors, or meal services to others. School Administrative Coordinator Key Responsibilities Deliver a secure, efficient, and welcoming campus environment that builds confidence among students, parents, and staff on a daily basis. Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified) At least 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or similar operational roles Comfort with basic technology tasks including device setup, troubleshooting, and account administration Strong written and verbal communication skills across parents, staff, and vendors Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Available to work in‑person in one of our campuses: Austin, TX; Houston, TX; Oklahoma City, OK; Park City, UT; Tulsa, OK; Tampa, FL; Denver, CO; or Brentwood, TN — or willing to relocate Nice‑to‑have Requirements Experience in K-12 school operations, student information systems, facilities coordination, parent communication, or campus-based customer service. Working with us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $37 USD/hour, which equates to $75,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
