Controller Position
Our client, a financially healthy manufacturer in Naperville Illinois (relocation will be provided) is seeking a controller who will:
- Lead the financial processes of the month-end close, cost variance reconciliations, inventory reconciliations, GL entries, standard cost reconciliations, changes in fixed assets, P&L, and forecast adjustments to budget.
- Ensure all plant accounting activities comply with GAAP, policies, and sound business practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Accounting/Finance) from a four-year college or university. Master’s degree, CPA or CMA preferred.
- 8+ years of direct experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in manufacturing accounting roles with a focus on cost accounting, manufacturing planning & budgeting.
- 4+ years of direct supervisory experience overseeing the accounting department.
- Solid knowledge, understanding, and experience with GAAP.
- Proven ability to thrive and succeed in a “fast paced” work environment.
- Ability to understand all changes in manufacturing strategy and provide insight & commentary.
- Execution oriented and rigorous in meeting performance commitments.
- Strong manufacturing background in quantitative analyses & ability to solve complex problems.
- Solid verbal & written communication, analytical & leadership skills.
