Patent Attorney Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Patent Attorney Associate with over two years of experience to join its electronics and computer patent practice in Boise, Idaho. The position offers opportunities in Colorado, Utah, and Idaho offices, among others. Duties Engage in patent preparation and prosecution work. Collaborate with technology companies to protect innovations. Leverage expertise in wireless communications, electronics, AI, and software. Participate in client counseling and post‑grant patent work. Requirements Minimum of two years of recent experience in patent preparation. Experience in wireless telecommunications, communication networks, or related fields preferred. Strong academic record with a technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. Growth mindset and interest in innovative technology. Education Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent fields. Certifications Admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
