About the Role:

Colonial Manor, a respected healthcare provider in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN or RN Charge Nurse to lead our nursing team from 7a to 7p. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring seamless operations during your shift.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care, demonstrating a patient-centered approach and empathy towards our residents

• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, promoting a culture of respect and teamwork

• Participate in shift-to-shift report to ensure continuity of care and communicate effectively with colleagues

• Manage and prioritize daily tasks, ensuring efficient use of time and resources

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control guidelines and safety protocols

About the Job:

As an LPN Charge Nurse at Colonial Manor, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring

• Supervise and delegate tasks to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient charts and medication administration records

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of care

Requirements:

• Current LPN or RN licensure in the state of Oklahoma

• Minimum 0 years of experience in a long-term care setting

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
