Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Glassboro, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the food and beverage production location, warehouse areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with authorized entry procedures and documenting security-related observations as required.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
