Payroll Support Specialist

Job Summary The Payroll Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining payroll-related information in the payroll system. This role supports payroll operations by processing employee data changes, entering garnishments, reviewing new hire information, and ensuring accurate documentation for employee terminations. The specialist also assists employees with accessing payroll records, including retrieving W-2 forms from the employee self-service portal. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain strict confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Enter and maintain payroll data including employee information, pay rates, deductions, and benefit updates. Review and verify new hire documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness before payroll system entry. Process employee termination data , ensuring final payroll details and system updates are completed correctly. Enter and maintain wage garnishments, levies, and court-ordered deductions in the payroll system while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Monitor and update garnishment balances and documentation as required. Assist employees with retrieving W-2 forms through the employee self-service portal and provide basic guidance on payroll-related inquiries. Verify timesheets and payroll data for accuracy prior to payroll processing. Maintain organized and confidential payroll records and documentation. Assist with payroll audits, reporting, and reconciliation tasks as requested. Communicate with HR, managers, and employees to resolve payroll data discrepancies. #J-18808-Ljbffr HKA Enterprises
