Senior Staff Software Engineer

Owning the technical strategy for the Modeling ML Serving API interface across the Host Pricing organization, the full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer will design architecture, lead the buildout of a unified serving stack, and establish domain contracts while working remotely in the USA. Key responsibilities Define the architecture and contracts for model deployment, ensuring consistency in feature store design and multi-version support Lead the development of a unified serving stack that streamlines the transition from training to production for data scientists Architect backfill and evaluation infrastructure to enable rapid simulation of production inference over historical data Required qualifications 12+ years of experience in backend or platform engineering, particularly in building production ML systems Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, Scala, and/or Python Deep understanding of ML systems design, including feature stores and model versioning Experience with high-scale batch and real-time data pipelines, such as Spark or Kafka Proven ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives in ML and platform engineering
