Level II Registered Nurse - Neuromusculoskeletal Med Surg

Job Description

The Level II Registered Nurse in Neuromusculoskeletal Med Surg is responsible for the provision of competent care based on established standards. Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, this role emphasizes clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research-based practices. The RN will assume an expanded role, which may include responsibilities as a charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member.

Schedule

This position operates on a 3x12 hour shift pattern, with a schedule that includes blocked weekends. Flexibility for weekends, holidays, on-call, and charge duties is required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• New York State Registered Nurse License
• 2 years of Med Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association only
• NIHSS certification

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
