About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance to spearhead the establishment and leadership of its global cybersecurity governance, risk, and regulatory assurance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an operating model that effectively communicates cybersecurity risk to executive leadership and the board, ensuring a clear and scalable control environment that meets regulatory and audit expectations. This role demands a seasoned professional with a strong background in cybersecurity risk and compliance, particularly within regulated environments, and the ability to lead through influence in a complex, global organization. Key responsibilities include owning the cybersecurity governance model, leading the enterprise cybersecurity risk management program, and driving regulatory compliance across various regimes. The VP will also be tasked with leading a team, developing talent, and fostering a culture where cybersecurity is integral to business operations. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree being a plus, and relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC. A minimum of 10 years' experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance, audit, or assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling governance, risk, and assurance programs, as well as strong executive communication skills and knowledge of cybersecurity and control frameworks. Experience with GRC tools and a background in managing audits, regulatory exams, and enterprise risk or control frameworks are also preferred. The role demands a leader who is adept at problem-solving, stakeholder management, and is comfortable operating in ambiguity while aligning with broader enterprise risk and security priorities.
