Location: Oviedo, FL 32765

Schedule:

• Full-Time / Permanent
• Night Shift
• Rotating Weekends

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $28/hr. – $40/hr. (based on experience) + Benefits
• Night Shift Differential: $4.50/hr.
• Weekend Differential: $3/hr
• $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
• Relocation Assistance available on a case-by-case basis

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join their Respiratory Therapy team on a night shift with rotating weekends . The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care and/or labor & delivery and will provide high-quality respiratory care to adult and neonatal patients in an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and document respiratory patient assessments including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure
• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Initiate, monitor, and maintain invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
• Assist with artificial airway placement and ventilator-dependent patient transport
• Monitor patient response to respiratory treatments and intervene appropriately
• Respond to emergency respiratory situations and support resuscitation efforts
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of RRT experience required
• Critical Care and/or Labor & Delivery experience preferred
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Florida State Respiratory Therapist license required
• Associate Degree required
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire
• CRT candidates will not be considered
