Practice Info Pocono Ambulatory Surgery Center (PASC) opened in 1986 as an Ophthalmic Surgery Center and became multi-specialty in 1990. PASC was an SPH Analytics winner for 2015-2016, 2016-2017, and 2018-2019 for demonstrating excellence in patient satisfaction. Case assignments include Ophthalmology, endo, ortho, plastics, and general. The team leadership includes David McIntyre, Chief Anesthesiologist. The care team model focuses on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence. Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation Salary: $475K Sign on bonus: $50K Loan repayment or training assistance program funding available Benefits Generous paid time off Generous benefits package, including: Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Profit sharing Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule Reach out to learn more Requirements M.D./D.O.
