Job Description

The Cleanroom Production Operator works in a controlled cleanroom environment to package products safely and efficiently. This role involves operating on multiple production lines, performing tasks such as loading bottles, capping, bagging, sealing, boxing, and palletizing finished goods. The position requires standing throughout the shift, rotating duties every few hours, and regularly handling boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support multiple production and packaging lines in a cleanroom environment.
• Load bottles onto the production line in an accurate and timely manner.
• Cap bottles according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Bag and seal products when required, ensuring proper closure and cleanliness.
• Load finished containers into boxes and prepare boxes for shipment.
• Assemble and prepare boxes, ensuring they are correctly labeled and ready for palletizing.
• Palletize finished products by stacking full boxes onto pallets, repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Rotate through various line duties every few hours to support overall production needs.
• Stand for the entire shift while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Follow cleanroom protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Read, understand, and follow batch records and work instructions.
• Record batch numbers accurately for inventory management and traceability.
• Sign off on completed tasks in batch records to document production activities.
• Support overtime production needs when required, including scheduled overtime on Fridays.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in a production, filling, or packaging role or similar position.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow instructions and document work.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working in a cleanroom, inspection, line operation, or packaging environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow batch records and procedures accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in cleanroom production or pharmaceutical, medical device, or similar regulated environments.
• Familiarity with inspection processes and quality-focused production work.
• Comfort working with rotating duties and varying physical tasks.
• Reliability and flexibility to work scheduled overtime when needed.

Work Environment

This role is based in a cleanroom production environment that requires adherence to strict cleanliness and procedural standards. Team members work on production lines that involve filling, packaging, inspection, and line operation activities. The schedule follows a weekday shift from Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with regular opportunities for overtime on Fridays during the same hours. The work is physically active, requiring standing for the entire shift, rotating tasks every few hours, and repetitively lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds while palletizing. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and consistency, with clear documentation practices and batch record requirements guiding daily operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Plymouth,MN.
