National Imaging Specialists is an established independent radiology practice operating out of Carrollwood and Pinellas Park. National Imaging Specialists is a quality-centric, specialty radiology practice offering MRI, CT, and PET-CT imaging services, and we have proudly served our surrounding communities for the past 20 years. We serve a diverse array of clients including physician offices, research clinics, and personal injury firms. National Imaging Specialists is looking for a PET-CT Technologist to join our team full-time or part-time at our Pinellas Park location.

*PET Technologist Roles & Responsibilities:*

* Perform diagnostic PET examinations to guarantee the quality and continuity of patient care
* Safely perform the injection of radiopharmaceuticals
* Create imaging protocols and ensure the successful transfer of images after acquisition
* Provide protection for patient and self in accordance with radiation safety standards
* Other duties as assigned

*Qualified candidates will possess the following credentials:*

* Experience in the area of PET procedures
* Working knowledge of applicable PET scan technology is required
* CNMT or ARRT (N) is required
* Current Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (Nuc. Med) licensure is required
* IV skills required
* Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
