Job Summary: The Financial Aid Officer guides students through the financial aid process, ensuring they are properly funded. The role coordinates with admissions, academics, and financial aid departments to assess eligibility, compute aid, and communicate award decisions. Position Type: Full‑time. Key Responsibilities: Advise students and families on financial aid options, including federal, state, and institutional programs. Process aid applications, verify income and eligibility documentation, and calculate award amounts. Collaborate with admissions, registrars, and academic advisors to resolve eligibility issues. Maintain accurate student aid records and prepare reports for compliance audits. Provide clear explanations of aid packages and answer inquiries. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience in student financial aid or related administrative roles is preferred. Strong analytical and organizational skills with accuracy. Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex information.
