Job Details
.Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager in the overall planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects.
Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including the identification and management of project risks and issues.
Coordinate and oversee the work of electrical subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
Oversee the procurement of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
Utilize Procore Construction Software to manage project documentation, including plans, permits, contracts, and reports.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of electrical work and adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure that electrical work is completed in accordance with energy-efficient lighting retrofit requirements.
Manage the application and approval process for electrical permits.
Oversee the provision of marina electrical, commercial electrical, and industrial repair services.
Prepare and present regular project status reports to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing electrical construction projects, including marina electrical, commercial electrical, and industrial repair projects.
Proficiency in the use of Procore Construction Software.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
Proven experience in managing project budgets and schedules.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and work effectively with a diverse team.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Experience in managing energy-efficient lighting retrofit projects is a plus.
