The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
- Set up EDM machines according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
- Monitor EDM processes to ensure quality and adherence to tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machinery.
- Interpret technical drawings and G-code for EDM programming.
- Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document operational procedures and maintain detailed production records.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles
- Ability to perform in-process quality checks and utilize precision measuring tools
- Experience with machine setup, tool changes, and basic preventative maintenance
