The Position: The Production Generalist is responsible for safely and efficiently operating production and packaging equipment in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. This role ensures the integrity of ingredients and finished products by performing thorough inspections and adhering to food safety specifications. They maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards, accurately documents production data using designated software, and works collaboratively with team members to meet production goals, improve processes, and promptly address operational issues.

The Location: White River Junction, VT; onsite daily.
The Pay: $19.10 to $20.17 per hour worked; pay commensurate with experience.
The Schedule: This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday 6:45am - 3:15pm, 40 hours per week, with overtime as necessary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures and quality standards.
Inspect and handle ingredients and finished goods to ensure compliance with food safety and quality specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in production areas, including performing routine cleaning duties to meet GMP standards.
Maintain accurate and complete production records and documentation, using required software
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets, identify operational improvements, and resolve issues as they arise.
Experience and Education
On the- job training provided on company-specific processes, equipment, and safety protocols
Must be 18 years of age or older

Ability to reach overhead, forward, and side to side to perform tasks at varying heights and positions frequently
Capable of wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Visual acuity and manual dexterity
Must be able to safely navigate a busy production floor
Frequent hand washing
Work environment
Occasional dusty environment from dry ingredients
Work with multiple potential food allergens
This role requires standing and working in a manufacturing environment, where noise levels vary
