Application Administrator

Responsible for theadministration of business enterpriseapplications. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting applications, as well as managing user access and ensuring data security.Coordinateswith other teams like developers, network engineers, and technical support to optimize application performance and resolve issues. Job Responsibilities Administersand maintainsenterprise applications. Ensuresapplication availability, performance, and compliance with internalservice level agreements (SLAs)and security policies. Managesuser roles, permissions, and access controls using tools like Active Directory and EntraID. Collaborateswith vendors and internal teams on upgrades, patches, and integrations. Monitorsapplication logs and performance metrics; proactively identifiesand resolvesissues. Documentsconfigurations, workflows, and change management activities. Supportsonboarding/offboarding processes and application provisioning. Participatesin audits, risk assessments, and incident response related to application security. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Skills Requirements Strong technical knowledge of operating systems, software applications, and networking concepts. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in managing cloud-based and on-premises applications. Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and automation tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening, and questioning skills. Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in an IT related fieldor equivalent education and experience. Experience Requirements Threeyears of experience in IT, preferablyinapplication administration or systems administration/support. MEC participates in the E-Verify program.
