Role Overv iew

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for the leadership, management, and development of a defined portfolio of client accounts. This role ensures delivery against financial, operational, and contractual commitments, while driving growth, service excellence, and client satisfaction.

The RAM will oversee all aspects of portfolio performance, including service delivery, financial management, compliance, people leadership, and business development, while fostering strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand services.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction across a portfolio of accounts to ensure contractual obligations are met and exceeded
  • Drive operational excellence, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery
  • Conduct regular site visits and support account teams, including deputising for Account Leaders where required
  • Implement effective governance, audit, and compliance frameworks across all accounts
  • Maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders through structured review meetings

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Hold full Profit & Loss responsibility for the portfolio
  • Develop and deliver financial plans, ensuring revenue, margin, and growth targets are achieved
  • Oversee cost control, WIP, debt management, and commercial performance
  • Support supply chain strategies including supplier negotiations, performance reviews, and re-tendering
  • Identify and deliver additional revenue opportunities through projects and expanded services

Business Development & Growth

  • Identify strategic opportunities to grow the portfolio and enhance profitability
  • Support bid processes, solution development, and client presentations
  • Lead or support mobilization and transition of new accounts to ensure seamless onboarding
  • Drive contract retention and renewal strategies

People & Talent Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop Account Leaders and wider teams
  • Ensure effective workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development
  • Foster a high-performance culture with strong employee engagement
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the portfolio

Health, Safety & Compliance (QHSE)

  • Ensure a safe and compliant working environment across all accounts
  • Implement and maintain robust health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance across all service lines

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in facilities management, operations, or a related field
  • Proven leadership experience managing multi-site or multi-account portfolios
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L responsibilities
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to interpret complex business documents and manage sensitive issues
  • Flexibility to travel and work outside standard hours when required
