Job Description

A Place At Home - Somerville is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate in-home care that allows our clients to age with dignity and comfort.

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Standby Caregiver to provide temporary coverage and support for clients throughout Morris County.

Responsibilities

Cover shifts when regularly scheduled caregivers call out or are unavailable.
Provide temporary care for new clients until a permanent caregiver is assigned.
Fill open or short-term shifts based on agency needs.
Provide compassionate care in accordance with client care plans and agency policies.
Assist with office or administrative tasks when needed and qualified.
Remain available for designated standby coverage.

Qualifications

Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Flexible and willing to assist with changing staffing needs.
Professional and compassionate.
Able to communicate availability and schedule changes promptly.
Willing to travel to different client locations.
