Machinist – Maple Grove, MN (Direct Hire)

$52,000 – $67,000 | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

We are immediately hiring a skilled Machinist for a long-term, direct-hire opportunity in Maple Grove. This is a stable, family-owned manufacturer with extremely low turnover and a strong reputation in EDM and mold-making since 1975.

If you can run machines, hold tight tolerances, and take ownership of your work on the shop floor—this is worth a serious look.

What You'll Do

Set up and operate CNC vertical mills, lathes, band saws, and surface grinders
Work primarily with graphite materials for precision components
Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and work instructions
Perform full setups including tooling, fixturing, and machine adjustments
Execute saw cutting, grinding, six-side machining, and finishing work
Troubleshoot machining issues and make in-process adjustments
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality compliance
Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area (5S mindset)

What We're Looking For

Strong CNC machining or setup experience (mills, lathes, grinders)
Ability to read and interpret prints and technical drawings
Comfortable working with tight tolerances and precision work
Hands-on mechanical problem-solving ability
Experience with setup, tooling, or machine troubleshooting strongly preferred
Graphite, EDM, mold-making, or similar background is a plus
CNC programming experience is a strong advantage (not required)
