We offer weekly pay + benefits.Pay Rate/Schedule:$20 - $25/hour | 1st Shift, 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Weekly pay every Friday | Overtime opportunities available | At $25/hr and 84 hrs/week, earn weekly paychecks of $2,650 gross.Position OverviewFieldBridge is seeking experienced precision machine operators for two openings supporting manufacturing operations in Houston. The EDM Operator will set up, program, and operate Wire EDM, RAM EDM, and EDM Drill equipment. The Honing Operator will run horizontal honing machines to produce components to tight dimensional and surface finish specifications. Both roles involve overhead crane operation and require flexibility to cross-train on related equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesEDM Operator:Set up, program, and operate RAM EDM, Wire EDM, and EDM Drill machinesInterpret engineering drawings and process sheets to meet tolerance requirementsSelect and install electrodes, wire, tooling, and fixturesPerform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instrumentsSafely load/unload components using overhead cranes and approved riggingHoning Operator:Operate horizontal honing machines (Sunnen or similar) for precision bore finishingSet up honing tools, stones, mandrels, and fixtures per work instructionsRead and interpret engineering drawings to achieve required tolerancesPerform in-process and final inspections using bore gauges, micrometers, and calipersSafely load/unload workpieces using overhead cranes and proper riggingRequired QualificationsEDM Operator:5 years of EDM machining experience preferred (Wire EDM, RAM EDM, EDM Drilling)Ability to perform machine setup and programmingAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsHoning Operator:5 years of honing machine operation experience preferredDirect experience operating horizontal honing machinesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsVEVRAA Federal Contractor.
