Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and practical experience to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in commercial settings.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot HVAC issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, and fans.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs.
• Collaborate with other service technicians to complete complex installations or repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work performed.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
• Stationed in College Station, travel to Houston and San Antonio.

Skills

• Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and refrigeration cycles.
• Previous experience as a service technician in the HVAC/R field is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Experience in appliance repair and property maintenance is beneficial.
• Field service experience with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
• A valid driver's license is required for this position.
