Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example in food preparation, cooking, presentation, and daily kitchen execution.
• Partner with the Executive Chef to create menus that balance flavor, variety, quality, and cost.
• Help train, coach, and support hourly culinary associates.
• Assist with ordering, inventory, food cost controls, and waste reduction.
• Plan and execute catering events with attention to presentation and service.
• Introduce new menus and culinary programs alongside the marketing and culinary teams.
• Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization.
• Support guest and client satisfaction through consistent food quality and responsive service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent hands-on culinary experience.
• Progressive culinary experience with responsibility for kitchen operations or team leadership.
• Restaurant, hotel, resort, catering, or other high-volume foodservice experience welcomed.
• Strong cooking fundamentals and knowledge of food trends, menu development, and presentation.
• Experience with food production, ordering, inventory, and cost controls.
• Catering and large-volume food preparation experience are a plus.
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to communicate clearly and help others succeed.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and email.
• ServSafe certification highly desirable.
