Registered Nurse - Shore Care - Per Diem Nights

About This Role The Registered Nurse in Shore Care provides comprehensive patient assessments, develops and implements care plans, and evaluates patient outcomes. This per diem night position is ideal for nurses who thrive in a collaborative environment and are dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. Highlights Location : Neptune, NJ Facility : Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule : Per Diem, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Identify ethical issues in the practice setting. Adhere to American Nurses Association Code for Nurses. Requirements Education: Associate's degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years recent experience in specialty required by May 5, 2025. Minimum of one (1) year experience in a floating professional environment required by May 5, 2025. Licenses & Certifications: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position required. National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.
