The position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and a comfortable work-life balance. You will engage with clients through virtual consultations as well as in our outpatient office setting in Spring Valley, New York. We promote a collaborative work environment, emphasizing open communication and team support. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients to assess their mental health needs and establish individualized treatment plans.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to each patient's specific circumstances.

• Regularly monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring effective care.

• Provide education on stress and trauma management techniques to patients and support staff.

• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, social services, and community resources to optimize patient outcomes.

• Facilitate support groups or workshops focused on mental health awareness and coping strategies.

• Stay current with developments in the mental health field by participating in continuing education courses, ensuring adherence to National Certified Counselor standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with trauma injury patients, guiding them through their recovery process. Many clients may have experienced significant life events, leading to anxiety, depression, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Your expertise will not only help them cope with their immediate psychological distress but also develop long-term strategies for emotional resilience. You will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment that encourages healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

Compensation and Benefits\n
