About the Role We are seeking a skilled Machinist to become part of our expanding aerospace and defense production site located in Southbridge, MA. This position offers an excellent path for individuals with a background in machining who are eager to advance their technical capabilities within a practical manufacturing setting. Core Duties Configure and run CNC equipment. Execute necessary tool adjustments, offsets, and system compensations. Interpret technical blueprints, engineering schematics, and project specifications. Utilize precision measurement instruments and gages to verify component accuracy. Support the production of high-quality parts while helping maintain a safe working environment for the entire team. Professional Requirements Minimum of one year in a machining role, with three or more years being ideal. Proven background in the setup and operation of CNC machinery. Proficiency in managing tool changes, offsets, and compensations. Competency in analyzing engineering drawings and blueprints. Skilled in the application of various inspection tools and gages. Must hold status as a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. Completion of High School or an equivalent educational credential. Additional Experience Candidates with exposure to Swiss or Mazak systems, lathes, mills, drills, punch presses, or deburring equipment are encouraged to apply.
