Job Overview:

We are seeking Quality Inspectors to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards through meticulous inspection and testing processes.

Duties:

• Inspect parts visually and dimensionally for conformance to manufacturing drawings, quality control specifications and customer requirements.
• Must utilize all precision measuring equipment and techniques as applicable including micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
• Must be able to read drawing/blueprints for inspection requirements
• Must have basic computer aptitude skills for entering measurement data
• Effectively work with mechanical and electronic inspection tools and devices
• Working knowledge of Geometric and Dimensional Tolerances (GD&T)
• Working knowledge of mylars, optical comparator, thickness gage and profilometer
• Knowledge of aerospace specifications, quality codes and standards
• Knowledge of Six Sigma preferred
• Able to read blueprints and schematics
• Perform AS9102 first article inspection and other extensive inspections per specifications
• Document all inspections in accordance with procedures and processes
• Develop and review inspection plans
• Ensure quality standards are met for all components and assemblies for final acceptance
• Maintain parts history folders, inspection reports and prints/drawings
• Calibrate and document hand tools and other inspection equipment
• Perform visual inspection
• Perform hardness and electrical conductivity testing
