As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Lobby Attendant in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate $20.06 / Hour Job Schedule Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Monitor lobby and entrance activity at a financial services location, help to control access, verify credentials, and direct authorized visitors in accordance with site protocols. Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Complete front desk logs, visitor records, and other required documentation, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security‑related issues to the appropriate contact. Minimum Requirements Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess one of the following: a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate. An armed guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
