Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist
United Talent is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist for a full-time opportunity. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable working with financial records, and experienced in day-to-day accounting functions.
Schedule & Pay
Monday–Friday- 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
- Complete bank and account reconciliations
- Balance accounts and review financial transactions for accuracy
- Prepare and maintain financial reports
- Organize and maintain financial documentation and transaction records
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Track company property taxes and ensure payments remain current
- Assist with the company's tax-related responsibilities
- Work closely with the company accountant during annual tax preparation
- Entering and processing payroll through a 3rd party platform
- Maintain accurate and confidential financial information
- Assist with additional accounting and administrative responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience is required
- Experience with accounting software required; QuickBooks experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Experience with account reconciliation and financial record keeping
- Familiarity with payroll processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Motivated, dependable, and willing to learn
- Basic CRM knowledge
- Strong computer and communication skills
