Electrical Apprentice

Swift Air Mechanical and Hamman’s Electric are currently searching for an Electrical Apprentice to join the team. If you are looking to join a fast-growing organization that appreciates hard work and dedication, Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assisting Journeymen: Following instructions from skilled electricians to complete electrical tasks. Helping to install wiring, conduits, junction boxes, switches, and lighting fixtures. Performing maintenance on electrical systems and repairing faults or damaged components. Interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project plans. Adhering to all safety codes, building regulations, and company safety procedures. Preparing work areas, cleaning job sites, and transporting tools and materials to work locations. Tool and Equipment Use: Using various hand tools, measuring equipment, and power tools to complete tasks. Assisting with diagnosing and repairing electrical issues, including high and low voltage systems. Skills and Qualifications: Receiving hands-on training and practical experience under the guidance of experienced electricians. Attending classroom-based apprenticeship programs to learn electrical theory, codes, and new technologies. Gradually taking on more complex electrical tasks and gaining the necessary skills to become a licensed electrician. The physical ability to bend, squat, kneel, grasp, manipulate hand and power tools. Desire to maintain and promote company moral, professionalism, and friendly work environment. Work with accuracy and sense of urgency Possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
