Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Medical Surgical Unit Duration: 13-Week Travel Contract Schedule: 4x12-Hour Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (every other weekend required) Pay Range: $2100-2350/week Key Responsibilities: Manage a full patient assignment with RN support in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting Monitor and document vital signs, pain levels, intake/output, and patient status changes Administer medications including oral, IM, SQ, NG/G-tube medications, eye and ear drops Perform blood glucose monitoring and assist with diabetes management Administer oxygen therapy via nasal cannula and monitor patient response Manage feeding tubes and provide routine patient care and hygiene assistance Perform Foley catheter insertion and urine specimen collection Provide basic wound care, dressing changes, and monitor drains such as JP and Hemovac drains Assist with telemetry monitoring and 12-lead EKG procedures Required Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care experience within the last 2 years Previous Medical-Surgical and/or Telemetry experience required Comfortable working night shifts and every other weekend Pride Health offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors #J-18808-Ljbffr
