Job Description - Pre-Owned Reconditioning Service Advisor (MER00046XO) Pre-Owned Reconditioning Service Advisor Group : Mercedes-Benz Group AG Description The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Service Advisor - Pre-Owned Reconditioning is responsible for the daily operations and profitability of the North Bergen used vehicle reconditioning center, the North Bergen Sprinter repair shop, and the quality output of both operations in conjunction with the Supervisor of new vehicle operations, and collision. The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Service Advisor - Pre-Owned Reconditioning must provide a consistently outstanding brand and customer experience through fostering excellent preparation, attitude, and teamwork for its internal and external customers. Basic duties include (but not limited to): Daily shop operations for the Sprinter workshop Daily operations and shop for used vehicle reconditioning and coordination with the collision shop Vehicle quality output and quality assurance process Paperwork associated with the process Photography of completed vehicles and uploading to website Vendor management of detailing, collision center (internal), wheel repairs, and logistics Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant work area NOTE: This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Qualifications High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent work experience Must have 5+ years’ experience in automotive repair Excellent leadership potential and people skills Proficient in DMS and Microsoft product Business sense and ability to track key performance metrics Ability to commute to and from MBM in Manhattan / North Bergen Able to withstand the physical requirements of the position.
