2026 Fulltime - Raytheon RF Test Software Engineer - Onsite

Raytheon is seeking an onsite RF Test Systems Engineer I to join the Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) directorate in McKinney, Texas. The role involves designing and developing test hardware and software solutions for Raytheon production programs. Responsibilities Work with hardware, software, and program engineers to design and develop test software solutions for production testing. Implement system software engineering best practices in planning, development, and execution of scope, schedule, and budget. Implement best practice standards regarding the planning, coordination, and execution of design activities with sound engineering process discipline and leadership. Effectively communicate technical information in formal design review settings. Provide hands‑on support to product testing within an engineering test environment. Share knowledge and provide mentoring to other engineers on the team. Support the Section Manager in the execution of the RF Technologies department goals. Qualifications – Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). Experience in C, C++, C#, or equivalent. Experience with RF measurements. Experience with configuration management tools. Experience with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Experience with various programming languages, operating systems, system monitoring tools, and communication protocols. Hands‑on experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Sourcetree, etc.). Hands‑on experience with lab instruments. Experience in successfully developing and deploying test software solutions in C#, CVI, C, or C++, with use of code review tools. Experience in automating RF test equipment control (e.g., vector network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers). Experience creating test plans and sequences for RF measurements using NI Test Suite. Security Clearance Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance is required prior to the start date.
