The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.

This Senior Clerk position is in the Office of the Attorney General within the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit in Tallahassee, Florida. Pay: $34,760.18 Annually

Qualifications: Two (2) years of secretarial or clerical experience; or A High School diploma or its equivalent.

The Work You Will Do:

• Under general supervision, the Records Senior Clerk operates scanning and other reproduction equipment to duplicate, storage, and retrieval of records.
• The Records Senior Clerk is responsible for performing clerical tasks that involve consistently entering high volumes of data into a computer system.
• Prepares agency files, including case related files for imaging into OnBase, the agency's document management system.
• Ensures files are imaged into OnBase accurately through detailed quality controlling duties. Ensures proper documentation and integrity of scanned images.
• Responsible for ensuring they complete the appropriate task of scanning or quality controlling of the box they are assigned.
• Responsible for assisting in the disposal of records that have reached their retention period as per the directives of Florida Statutes, policies and the State Records Center.
• Responsible for ensuring the proper indexing of files as assigned.
• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
