Staff Accountant
CFS is partnering with a rapidly growing client to identify a Staff Accountant to join their expanding accounting team. Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant
- Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly close process.
- Assist with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash balances.
- Process and reconcile cash receipts.
- Prepare accruals and maintain fixed asset schedules.
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
- Support audits and participate in process improvement initiatives as the company continues to grow.
Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
- One or more years of accounting experience or a completed accounting internship.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Salary: $65k-80k DOE
