CNC Machinist

Direct Hire | Full-Time

TempExperts is seeking an experienced  CNC Machinist for a well-established company in  Tampa, FL . This position is responsible for programming, setting up, editing, and operating CNC machines to produce quality parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have  Mastercam and Haas experience , strong blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to troubleshoot machining and production issues.

Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, edit, and operate CNC machines.
• Create and maintain tooling required for production.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and specifications.
• Produce parts accurately, efficiently, and according to established quality standards.
• Inspect completed parts and address quality or production issues.
• Maintain production schedules and communicate delays or issues to the Production Manager.
• Identify manufacturing problems and recommend alternative solutions when needed.
• Maintain organized parts, tools, and inventory.
• Follow OSHA requirements and all applicable safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Cross-train on other production duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements:

• CNC machining experience with programming, setup, editing, and operation.
• Experience with  Mastercam .
• Experience with  Haas CNC equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints.
• Knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and quality standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with production leadership and management.
• One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.

Preferred Experience:

• Toyoda CNC equipment.
• EDM.
• Mitsubishi controls or equipment.
